On Site Massage (OSM) is made up of a sequence of complex massage moves that create one flowing form, known as a 'kata' The traditional Chinese massage techniques from which these moves come from, date back over 5,000 years. From these origins grew the more complex systems of shiatsu, acupuncture and acupressure.

Each of these therapies work with the meridians, which are channels of energy or 'Ki', which circulate the whole body. When these channels are clear, energy will move around freely and keep the body holistically balanced and harmonious. When the flow is impaired, due to illness, stress and tension, an energy block is created and can be felt as discomfort, either physically or emotionally.

Using acupressure points, parts of the OSM treatment is specifically aimed at releasing these blockages. OSM also includes stretches to relieve muscular tension from sitting at a desk all day, relaxing and nuturing kneading strokes that ease stiff muscles and finally, percussion which stimulates and invigorates! The overall effect of the treatment is both relaxing and energizing.

We also offer a 30 minute foot massage incorporating reflexology techniques for the workplace or larger events.

Some people want a foot massage, but feel uncomfortable with the idea. To put you at ease, Exhale would like to reassure you that your feet will always be cleaned before the start of your reflexology treatment.

We would be happy to visit your workplace to provide a free taster session so that you can feel the beneficial effects of an Indian Head Massage. For details of costs please visit our website.
