All therapists are female and they will only see women at the club premises. You will find Sunstone a very safe and caring environment, entirely staffed by women.

Acupuncture with Diane Timewell
This ancient Chinese method of healing aims to prevent and cure specific diseases and conditions by sticking very fine, solid needles into specific points on the body known as acupuncture points. The World Health Organization says acupuncture can be beneficial in many medical conditions ranging from neurological and gastrointestinal to mental and emotional ones.
Alexander Technique with Kathryn Akin
The Alexander Technique is a unique form of re-education which seeks to restore the feedom of movement and poise that we had as children. The Technique is over 100 years old and is a practical way of changing harmful patterns of daily behaviour that often lead to painful conditions and unwelcome levels of stress.

Half price introductory Alexander Technique lessonsKathryn is offering half price introductory lessons through July and August both at her home address at Stamford Hill and at Sunstone.
So it's £17 to come to either place for a private, hour long introductory lesson in the Alexander Technique.
Sunstone also welcomes non-members to the complementary health clinic.

Osteopathy is a method of diagnosis and treatment which is primarily concerned with the structural and mechanical failures of the body which give rise to pain and disability - usually relating to problems of bones, muscles, tendons and ligaments. However because it is holistic in nature it also takes into account all the body's systems (e.g. cardiovascular), the person and their lifestyle. Osteopaths work mainly with their hands using a wide variety of techniques such as soft tissue massage, gentle stretching and release of muscles, passive mobilisation of joints, rhythmical rocking movements and manipulation.

Individuals with sports injuries will often continue to do classes or train in an attempt to work the problem off. Whilst this can be successful occasionally, more often than not it makes the problem worse as other parts of the body compensate for the original injury. A visit to the osteopath can result in a quicker healing process.
