Whether you have never been to a health and fitness club before or haven't been to a gym in years we promise you'll find The Bay a hospitable place to visit, that's airy, has plenty of natural light and a good atmosphere.
Classes at The BayAEROBICS: A fun aerobic workout using choreographed moves. Guaranteed to get you working hard.
AB BLAST: Using floor work and the swiss ball, this 20 minute class focuses on the core abdominal muscles and strengthening the lower back.
BODY CONDITIONING: An aerobic warm up followed by a total body toning class, concentrating on your problem areas using equipment or body weight.
BODY BLAST: A 30 minute weights circuit class in the gym that will increase muscle strength and introduce you to new and interesting free weights exercises.
CIRCUIT TRAINING: A non-choreographed high intensity workout using all major muscle groups using a variety of equipment and training methods. This class is suitable for everyone.
HATHA YOGA: A yoga class that includes Asanas breathing and relaxation/meditation techniques….Mind, Body & Soul.
KAI BO: An aerobic based combat class working with music, using combinations of kicks, punches and blocks, a great high energy workout.
PILATES: A slow and controlled method of training, concentrating on the deep postural muscles in the abdominal area. Great for back strengthening and those with minor back issues. Pilates promotes excellent posture and coordination.
SPINNING: A high intensity lo-impact workout based on the stationary bike. Targeting the lower body, an excellent fat burner.
SWISS BALL WORKOUT (see ab blast): Improve balance, core stability & strength.

MAUY THAI at The BayJose, with over 20 years experience as a martial artist, teaches Thai Boxing and self-defence using the basics of this ancient martial art and adapting it to modern day situations.
Classes are divided into Muay Thai (Thai Boxing) and Thai Boran (Thai self-defence), which is designed for and focused on women's self defence.
Age, gender and physical condition are not important when practising this Martial Art. Just bring your eagerness, motivation and willingness to learn.
BOXING TRAININGBoxing-specific fitness training. Padwork, bagwork and stamina. One to one training or classes. Suitable for men and women.
