Your First Visit Firstly you will fill out some brief paperwork describing you and your health history. You will then meet your chiropractor and a full case history will be taken. A thorough physical examination including orthopaedic and neurological tests will follow so that the chiropractor can assess the neuromusculoskeletal system (nerves, muscles, and joints). Should it be required – examination of the abdomen, cardiovascular, or respiratory systems may also be carried out. Normally we will need to see you for around 45 minutes. (If you are in extreme pain you will be given some pain relief treatment and helpful advice).
